About P.J.

About:

P.J. Loop has always been 42.

He was never a young nor old-soul —he was thrust into the world of being a self-proclaimed middle-aged sentience. This explains his overly cautious behaviour, with occasional bouts of midlife crisis, and his tendency to plaster disclaimers and apologies everywhere.

He is currently writing his first series of novels, published under the title 'The End of Worth and Distance'. The plot, of which, will unfold across four episodes. He is very keen to see people's reactions and feedback to the first episode, aptly named 'Episode One'. Mainly because he can no longer be objective on the matter; but equally so that it becomes easier to tell which parts should be donated to science, for use in literal fusion experiments.

Occupation:

Professional Web Developer, Perchancing Author

Interests:

Anything imaginative, creative and quirky. Music! He really enjoys Science Fiction, especially when collided with other genres. Would love to spend his days coding, drawing, writing and animating. He takes too many notes. He seems to prefer fiction over real life, but don't tell him that.

Dislikes:

Talking about himself in the third-person.

About the Book Series

About TEOWAD

'The End of Worth and Distance' is a four-part science fiction novel series about a mystery, well... several mysteries. Actually it isn't about that, not directly. It's about two security specialists, Ash Worth and Victoria Distance who live in a world where the wrong sound can ruin your gallery exhibition, your hopes for the future, or even your breakfast. Oh... but it is also about strange PoliceGuard detectives, furry alien creatures that sneak around under the lunarlight, from good decisions, awkward bureaucracy, all the way across to what the kitchen sink does when no-one is looking.

If you like things being tricksy in their indirection, bold in their choices of overgarments, ever-so-slightly annoying in their use of footnotes, then this series is for you. It definitely won't be eveyone's cup of tea.

The first book in this series, 'Episode One', will soon be published. The second is almost at a complete draft. The third is about 30% complete. The fourth about 10%. But the entire idea has been planned out for longer than we've been putting unexpected items in bagging areas. And the author writing these creations couldn't care less if anyone actually reads them —at least in terms of him reaching 'The End'. Even though he truly hopes you will, and you might just enjoy it.

Please sign up to the mailing list to be notified when 'Episode One' is published, or don't and leave it to your best intuition. Sometimes you can only ever play things by ear. Whatever that means.
